Position Summary:

Perform required tasks and duties for the designated position, as determined by team composition and crewing needs. Must maintain timely progress through assigned operational training. Must flexibly perform a variety of roles in a team-based environment. Perform all jobs safely, efficiently and accurately to maintain and improve the performance of the entire plant in the areas of Safety, Quality, Reliability (SQR) and our Customer 1st strategy. Provide leadership that embodies our 7 Kroger Manufacturing High Performance Work System principles. • Provide active support to any team member when needed to maintain operations
• Follow established programs, policies and practices to produce safe, quality foods that meet regulatory and company requirements
• Collaborate with training coordinator or resource leader to maintain expected pace of technical and leadership development
• Maintain timely arrival and attendance for scheduled shift

Minimum Position Qualifications/Education:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must demonstrate reliable, punctual attendance
• Effective problem-solving ability
• Effective oral/written communication skills
• Positive, approachable demeanor
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and readily adapt to change
• Active listening skills
• Basic mechanical reasoning skills
• High School diploma or GED
• Highly self-motivated, with ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
• Basic reading (comprehension) and math skills (counting, addition and subtraction)

Desired Previous Job Experience:
