Job Title: Mechanical Technician
Location: ODESSA TX 79761 United States
Duration: 3 Months
Pay rate: $22.00 an hour.
Shift Time: 6:00am to 6:00pm


  • The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for performing technical duties in one of the functional areas: electronic, mechanical or systems.
  • Cameron's Surface segment designs and manufactures complete wellhead and Christmas tree systems for onshore and offshore topside applications.
  • Our Surface segment is not only the industry's largest provider of surface completion and production equipment but also has a large services business in each of its markets.
  • This segment has an extensive installed base of equipment and is collaborating with customers around the world.
  • One of the major services provided by the Surface segment is CAMSHALE Production Solutions, which specializes in shale gas production.
  • Under direct supervision, this position safely and cleanly assembles/dismantles and repairs valve equipment and assembles frac tree components for field installation.
  • Cleans and maintains shop, equipment, and tools.
  • Responsible for the safety of self and others.
Minimum Job Qualifications

  • Consideration will be made for equivalent education/direct work experience to include Valve Technician general assembly general oilfield product/equipment operating knowledge.
  • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Safety certifications including hoisting and rigging (shop only), overhead crane, forklift certification, first aid, H2S are considered an asset.
