Summary

Manager, Supply Chain, Production will be responsible for the management of the production departments while ensuring the safety of our people, workplace and environment and meeting all company, legal and other requirements.. Ensure all facility equipment is maintained up to company standards

Responsibilities

• Ensure plant is in compliance with all federal and state regulations along with company policy/procedure
• Ensure all plans and strategies are effectively communicated throughout the department
• Manage all Production activities in a 5 line complex manufacturing environment.
• Review, alter, and approve all departmental scheduling issues - Manage customer service and personnel issues
• Review and approve promotional request form
• Conduct scheduled meetings (department, safety)
• Manage labor expenses for the Production Department.
• Assist in the selection of prospective new hire employees
• Lead focus groups to include all functions in the facility (Production, Maintenance, Quality, and Planning).
• Develop and continuously analyze budget versus planned forecast and report monthly or as needed.
• Develop workforce (both Management and Hourly) through supervision, coaching, and training
• Monitor QI daily and provide recommendations to solve quality issues
• Develop plans and projects to solve issues related to both productivity and financial performance.

Qualifications

• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds required
• Prior experience in a high speed facility preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required
• Should have experience leading large teams as well as developing team members
