Director of Supply Chain Operations


Our Client, a well positioned leader in the renewable energy sector, is seeking a skilled professional to join their growing team and drive strategic initiatives on a global scale. This individual will be leading full cycle Supply Chain initiatives with a prime focus on materials and equipment necessary to develop assets and meet ever evolving stakeholder needs.


The Director of Supply Chain Operations will be responsible for:

  • Overall demand planning and reliability of materials and equipment
  • Acquiring market intel to support internal stakeholders on strategic growth initiatives
  • Production control and Logistics management as the company continues to grow in market share
  • Taking into account TCO when assessing suppliers and their ability to provide and support agreed upon services for timelines that can span a decade
  • Development and execution of sourcing strategy for materials and equipment
  • Leading the competitive bid process across potential suppliers


The qualified candidate will possess the following:

  • Proficiency in utilization of analytics tools including, but not limited to, Tableau, Power BI, or SQL
  • Prior experience working with vendors on a global platform
  • BS in Engineering or BA in Finance (MBA preferred)
  • 10+ Years' experience in procurement/strategic sourcing tied to direct materials and products
