Manager, Professional Engagement Jobs

The Manager, Professional Engagement, is a grant-funded position that will support the work of ADA staff teams aligned with its professional services programs with a primary focus on supporting Interest Groups. Specific support will include coordination of Interest Group Leadership Team activities and management of Interest Group webinars.

• This position is grant funded.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Interest Group online forum
• Manage post-event analysis, including budget reconciliations and invoice management
• Serve as logistics contact during webinars, including managing virtual vendor, and acting as the main point of contact for speakers
• Work with speakers for ADA’s Women’s Inter professional Network professional development course, including invitations, content development, promotion, execution, reporting, and processing honoraria
• Manage professional membership group applications, including application collating and organizing for committee review
• Coordinate Interest Group Leadership Team activities, including abstract awards, award nominations, networking events, and meetings
• Other duties as assigned
• Create and monitor registration for attendees and provide customer service to registrants
• Update templated marketing materials, including website, and work with stakeholders to implement promotion strategies
• Work closely with speakers for webinars including invitations, content development, promotion, execution, reporting, and processing honoraria

Requirements:

• Demonstrated ability to problem solve
• Undergraduate degree preferred
• Experience with collecting and analyzing data and writing reports
• Minimum of 3 years of event management experience
• Demonstrated ability to achieve outcomes while responding to changing circumstances and priorities
• Strong oral and written communication and presentation and interpersonal skills to help build and manage team productivity /cohesion
• Strong time management skills
• Adept at using Microsoft Office Suite and cloud-based applications, experience in learning management systems, Zoom, and Cvent a plus
• Enjoys working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities
• Experience managing multiple, concurrent projects in a matrix organization

Compensation Range: $50K- $57K DOE
