L/S Equity Analyst (Consumer)

Our client, a NYC-based investment management firm with over $30 billion AUM, is looking to hire an experienced Long/Short Equity Consumer Analyst to join their team in NYC. This individual will work alongside Senior Analysts, helping with investment due-diligence, compiling sector trend data, and conducting fundamental bottom-up investment analysis.

This is a hybrid role based out of NYC, working 3 days on-site/2 days from home.

Responsibilities:

· Provide investment ideas based on fundamental research and deep knowledge of trends in the CONSUMER sector

· Build financial models and conduct fundamental bottoms-up

analysis/actively model positions for one of the firm’s top consumer-focused

portfolios

· Develop and maintain impactful relationships with company

management, investor relations teams, and sell-side contacts

Requirements:

· 2-6 of equity research experience in the CONSUMER sector

· Bachelor’s degree from accredited university

· Investment Banking experience is a plus

· Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with strong

attention to detail

· Strong written and verbal communications skills

Salary: Base $150k-$200k +Bonus +Top Benefits
