Are you a high flying Qualitative Researcher with a background of planning, managing and moderating research? Then you could be the perfect fit for this research consultancy in this hybrid working Consumer Insights Director role!
JOB TITLE: Consumer Insights Director
SALARY: $75k - $100k
LOCATION: Fairfield, CT
THE COMPANY
A professional design agency that provide product and packaging solutions for Fortune 500 companies and their best known brands. A team of just under 50 employees, they thoughtfully consider and expertly define structural package design and development.
They are fuelled by rapid prototyping and on-the-spot decision making and transform their clients ideas into market place successes. Creating an impact across a variety of sectors, they work with well-known brands such as Starbucks, Doritos, Coca-Cola, Pantene and Duracell.
They are currently looking to grow their team and bring on a Consumer Insights Director to lead, plan, co-ordinate and execute multiple research projects and manage the day-to-day research-related tasks.
KEY DUTIES
- Plan, manage and moderate qualitative research, including in-person ethnographies and one-on-one interviews, digital ethnographies, online bulletin boards, video diaries, focus groups & ideation sessions
- Define appropriate research objectives that are consistent with client/project objectives
- Plan, manage and facilitate qualitative and quantitative research using the appropriate tools with consideration to the project budget
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience of managing and leading end-to-end qualitative projects
- Previous experience of sharing knowledge, key learnings and best practice from experiences on the projects that they have been responsible for
- Have experience of developing client relationships and working closely with the new business team to uncover new business opportunities.
BENEFITS INCLUDE
- Experience moderating consumer sessions with a RIVA or equivalent moderator training
- 10+ years of experience in the marketing research field, preferably with experience in CPG
- Experience in executing qualitative research; some experience in quantitative preferred
- A degree in the field of marketing research, marketing or social sciences. MBA a plus.
