Revenue Analyst Jobs

Overview:

This role will function as the primary track of revenue and develop strategies for improvement. The Revenue Analyst will break down all aspects of revenue beginning with purchases and ending with the sale of goods. The analyst breaks down revenue by individual product and service and determines which goods are making the company money and which are not.

Responsibilities:

• Review local accruals, allowances, and growth programs.
• Manage internal spend budget by maintaining tracking tools and reviewing internal agreements successes and failures.
• Continually look for ways to increase overall GP and sales margin through unexplored means and programs.
• Work across the organization with a particularly close link to sales to achieve annual margin targets
• Improve upon current tools, or build new tools, to facilitate greater understanding of business performance
• Assist in establishing, scheduling, and preparation for business reviews with our supplier community.
• Ad hoc analyses as needed
• Work with suppliers to obtain discounted pricing for customers in competitive environments.
• Identify actionable insights by mining data from 3rd party reporting tools.
• Own weekly & monthly performance updates from a variety of data sources.

Requirements

• Superior communication skills, both verbal and written
• Minimum 3-5 years related industry experience with a foodservice company
• Ability to be effective in highly volatile and ever-changing marketplace
• Exceptional leadership, presentation, strategy development, communication and influencing skills.
• BA/BS Degree
• Strong understanding of P&L dynamics
• Demonstrated analytical, collaborative, and consultative abilities.
• Ability to interpret data and determine key actions in response
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access) with exceptional skillsets in Excel
• Strong analytical, quantitative, problem solving and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
