As of May 25th, a litigation firm seeks a Practice Specialist to oversee the daily operations of the Governance Practice, including spearheading projects and initiatives related to human resources, professional development, staffing and utilization, marketing, and budget management. This position will involve:
· Serving as a liaison between the practice and other departments, including Finance, HR, Marketing, IT, Recruiting, and the Managing Clerk’s Office
· Supporting marketing efforts, including updating website bios, organizing speaking engagements, and coordinating thought leadership opportunities
· Tracking CLE credits, assisting the attorneys with enrolling in CLE seminars, and supporting professional development programs
· Tracking departmental calendars, assisting with assigning attorneys and paralegals to new cases, and monitoring attendance/PTO of staff
· Contributing to departmental recruiting efforts, tracking budgets and expenditures, and planning a variety of events and team-building exercises
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years of project management experience within a law firm setting
· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn new systems and processes
· Excellent communication, project management, leadership, and organizational skills
· Professional demeanor, strong emotional intelligence, and detail-oriented approach; ability to maintain confidential information and act with discretion
· Proactive work ethic, strong client-service orientation, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting
· Flexibility to travel and/or work over as needed to meet the demands of the role
