Job Description
Mobile Vascular Physicians, MVP, is an industry-leader in vascular care. We provide concierge vascular and interventional services to long-term care facilities throughout New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. MVP focuses on prevention and healing lower extremity wounds and ensuring each patient’s vascular disease is managed properly so they can maintain or improve their overall health and avoid hospitalization and irreversible disease. Our highly skilled clinicians are widely recognized in their field for their endovascular expertise. They provide compassionate and evidence-based care to long-term care residents as well as outpatients. When necessary, our out-patient care facilities are equipped to handle invasive procedures and treatments.

  • Process contract review requests to ensure that commercial side of business provides agreed terms against which to compare contracts
  • Candidate must be a self-starter, interested in growing and learning, have the highest integrity, with ability to express needs and work-related goals
  • Must be able to effectively multi-task, manage time-sensitive documents and have exceptional organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Monitor and managing in coordination with Chief Legal Officer contract and project workflows
  • Experience with general contract drafting, proofing, as well as transaction closings, with a willingness to learn
  • Maintain and monitor calendar of various compliance and corporate governance matters
  • Assist in the drafting and review of draft employment offer letters, contracts, vendor contracts and other legal agreements
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Support corporate records retention and maintenance, as well as other initiatives of the Chief Legal Officer
  • Maintain Sharepoint database of growing body of contracts, applications and other business documents, along with preparation of updates to contract summary portals
  • Chief Legal Officer will be largely remote and the paralegal position will be onsite
  • Organize and maintain documents in paper and electronic filing system(s)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Must be able to function effectively in a busy, team-oriented environment
  • Superior organizational skills
  • Candidate must be extremely organized and able to generate new ideas and ways to better organize documents, etc
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365, including Teams, Sharepoint, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Maintain database of numerous contracts along with various indexing points
  • 5 years of document management and/or corporate paralegal experience preferred
  • Certificate in Paralegal Studies preferred
  • Interact with Chief Legal Officer to identify and help implement legal department initiates to increase efficiency and to ensure that the needs of the business are being met
  • Prepare and complete various forms in coordination with various company departments on a wide variety of matters
  • Customize various form agreements and non-disclosure agreements and process through contract lifecycle
  • Meticulous attention to details
  • Monitor and maintain corporate governance functions related to numerous entities, including preparation of board and committee minutes, other resolutions, consents without meetings and meeting agendas and compilation of supporting docs
  • Oversee and assist in regulatory compliance matters and monitoring in coordination with the Chief Compliance Officer
