Intro:

Dashlane is currently looking for an individual with a legal background (paralegal or law school graduate) to work with the General Counsel with day-to-day operations in the legal department and other areas that are overseen by the legal department, such as procurement, compliance, and risk. This is a unique opportunity ideally suited to someone who is interested in legal issues but has determined that a traditional legal career is not for them.

About the role:

As Dashlane's Paralegal, you will be the first departmental hire aside from the General Counsel, with an opportunity to shape the role based on strengths and preferences. You'll have the opportunity to work with basic commercial contracts (NDAs, etc.), take on new tasks, ask questions, and work with a wide range of stakeholders across the organization. The balance of "legal" versus "operational" tasks will be shaped by the your strengths and interests.

This position will be hybrid and based in our NYC office. Candidates will be expected to be in the office 3 days a week.

At Dashlane you will:

• Perform initial review of standard contracts (NDAs, vendor agreements, customer agreements)
• Oversee the vendor approval process (procurement function)
• Work closely with the Sales function and Deal desk to improve reporting of legal requirements
• Track legal spend and related vendors (e.g., auditors)
• Work closely with Engineering, Security and People teams to obtain certifications (e.g., SOC 2, ISO)
• Be the primary liaison between the legal function and designated company functions, with an opportunity to be exposed to and develop expertise in areas of interest

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a paralegal, legal operations professional, or in another relevant role with relevant responsibilities

Salary Range: $99,000 - $115,500

Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of total compensation package that also includes benefits, and other opportunities at Dashlane. We also include equity in all compensation packages and believe 100% of Dashlaners should have an option to purchase ownership in the company and benefit from what we hope will be a lot of upside growth.

Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to other Dashlaners. We expect the majority of the candidates who are offered roles at Dashlane to fall healthily throughout the range based on these factors.
