Based in California, Dallas, Denver, Washington, D.C. or New York offices, the Litigation Paralegal Supervisor will oversee the U.S. Litigation paralegal staff, ensuring quality service and support is provided to attorneys and partners. The incumbent will also ensure the department’s objectives and goals are met.
This role reports to the Manager, Paralegal Services.
Responsibilities include:
- Participate in mid-year and year-end performance evaluation for litigation paralegals.
- Acts as a liaison between attorneys/partners and paralegals, ensuring projects are completed.
- Oversee a growing department of 30+ litigation paralegals nationwide across 9 U.S. offices.
- Track, review, and approve time and attendance for all litigation paralegals.
- Conduct meetings with litigation paralegal team.
- Guides litigation paralegals in maintaining appropriate workloads and monitors quality of work.
- Periodically provide litigation support and ensure projects and timelines are met, as needed.
- Ensures successful onboarding and training is administrated to new joiners
- Assist with design and implementation of paralegal training and department procedures.
- Identify staffing needs for litigation team; aids with the recruitment of full-time and temporary paralegals.
- Monitors billable hour requirements of all litigation paralegals.
- Coordinate workflow with Paralegal Services Manager to allocate equal distribution of litigation case and project assignments across U.S. offices.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with members across multiple offices in a fast-paced environment.
- Trial experience preferred.
- Good judgment and ability to maintain confidence or personal and sensitive information.
- Superior analytical and reasoning abilities.
- Proactive and able to handle efficiently handle multiple projects and client matters simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and a strong attention to detail.
- Flexible and able to multi-task, balancing priorities and tight deadlines.
- Experience in organizing complicated projects and directing and supervising the work of others.
EXPERIENCE
- Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- University degree
- 7+ of work experience as a Litigation paralegal in a major law firm.

Compensation & Benefits:
The annual compensation range for this position is $165-180k. The salary offered within this range will depend upon qualifications and other operational considerations.
