We are looking for a detail oriented Legal Assistant to support our legal departments, in litigation duties. This is a mid-level position.

Responsibilities:

• Calendaring, scheduling, communicating specific and accurate data
• Microsoft Word and Excel as well as Filevine used daily.
• Investigate facts to help in the resolution of legal disputes
• Record and store client information
• Monitor and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
• Conduct research to support legal proceedings
• Filing in the Florida Courts e-Filing portal
• Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents: motions, pleadings, notices of deposition, mediation, more

Qualifications:

• Detail-oriented
• Familiarity with legal research required
• Experience working in the e-filing portal is required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
• Ability to prioritize and multitask is essential
• Deadline-oriented

Pay: From $37,440 - $41,600 per year; Bonus
