Job Description

We are looking for a Legal Secretary/Administrative Assistant to join our team. Persons well suited for this position would first and foremost love interacting with and working with people, particularly seniors, and be effective at working with a team of mature professionals. Strong communication skills are essential to success. Legal secretary background would be helpful.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform other office tasks (replenish office supplies, distribute mail, etc.)
  • Using templates and other software to generate first drafts of various documents
  • Managing the office calendar, contact and case database
  • Working with potential and existing clients as they interface with our firm
  • Being a point of first contact for those seeking legal assistance through phone calls, walk-ins, and email

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in secretarial, administrative, or other related fields
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to learn new things quickly
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Strong organizational skills
  • A great love and concern for people, and particularly seniors
