POSITION SNAPSHOT:
We are looking for a passionate and energetic Learning & Development Specialist who can help build an environment of growth and development by creating and delivering trainings and programs for our team members. This person is responsible for creating, adapting and delivering curriculum for a variety of audiences and learning delivery methods.

Day in the life…
Support L&D program creation, coordination, administration, and facilitation, including leadership, compliance, and new hire orientation and onboarding.
Design learning programs, materials and solutions using the ADDIE method, or other adult learning theory.
Develop required learning assets (self-assessments, presentations, handouts, self-study materials, assignments, etc.) that are aligned to the desired learning outcome
Conduct needs assessment of specific group of learners, then update training materials and methods and adapt to the needs of the group.
Provide materials, pre- and post-learning assignments and initiate their engagement in the learning process
Follow up and/or provide feedback on pre- and post-learning assessments
Provide post-learning support that ensures practical use of gained competencies
Facilitate meetings and learning events in face-to-face and online situations
Develop and manage data collection instruments (questionnaires, surveys, structured interviews, focus groups, etc.)
Manage instructor-led and online learning scheduling, rosters & completion status
Create and lead facilitation best practices and development for trainers outside of department
Regularly evaluate programs, materials, and learning solutions to identify improvement opportunities.
Draft and deliver standard & project-specific communications.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, REQUIRED SKILLS
A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a corporate trainer
Proven experience in conducting training online and in-person
Knowledge of platforms, tools and techniques for conducting training online and in-person
Facilitation skills
Demonstrates creativity and develops engaging training materials that support transfer of learning
Knowledge of formal training models and possess specific proficiency with ADDIE model.
Ability to apply learning theory and business needs into relevant and effective learning opportunities.
Consistently meet deadlines, manage projects and initiatives to a premium completion.
Partners collaboratively and demonstrates a consultative approach.
Demonstrates critical thinking and problem-solving skills with results orientation.
Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud.
Proficient with eLearning building software to include Articulate and Vyond.
Ability to shoot and edit video training a plus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Non-traditional office work environment. We have games in the lobby, a billiard table in the break room, and we get everyone together for “Parties on the Patio” where we relax and catch up over ice cold “refreshments”.
