Job Description
SUMMARY:
Under general supervision, the Learning & Development Specialist will be responsible for
designing and delivering effective training programs to improve the skills and abilities of
our employees.
JOB DUTIES
  • Designs and delivers training programs for employees on a variety of soft skills topics,
including but not limited to, communication, time management, change management,
leadership, emotional intelligence, and teamwork.
  • Conducts pre and post training evaluations to measure the effectiveness of the training
  • Develops training materials such as presentations, handouts, and assessments.
programs and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborates with leadership and subject matter experts to ensure that the training
programs are aligned with the company's vision, values, goals and objectives.
  • Continuously updates and improves training programs based on feedback and new
research on best practices in adult education.
  • Stays up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in professional development.
  • Attends professional development conferences and workshops to enhance teaching skills
and knowledge.
  • Works with field management to customize professional development programs, based
  • Facilitates Impact Team classes.

  • Supports the design of new technical training programs in collaboration with subject
matter experts.
  • Assists with customer training on similar topics as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Typically requires a bachelor's degree in education, psychology, business, or a related field
and five (5) or more years of experience in designing and delivering professional
development training programs or an equivalent combination.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Expands current class offerings through new certifications.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Ability to be a team player.
  • Experience with e-learning platforms and technologies is a plus.
