What you will do
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Learning and Development Specialist to drive the design and delivery of our organization's learning and development program. The ideal candidate will have a passion for learning and development, a proven track record of delivering impactful training programs, and designing blended learning solutions. In this role, you will be a leader and contributor, driving a culture of continuous professional development (CPD) with our global teams in the USA, Bulgaria, and LATAM.
Responsibilities
- Apply adult learning theories to ensure employees get the most out of their development.
- Provide coaching in instructional design expertise.
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of an advanced learning and development strategy. Facilitate discussions, create plans and roadmaps.
- Ensure that training programs are in line with an overarching, organization-wide learning and development strategy.
- Use digital tools to create flexible and innovative learning programs.
- Coordinate internal course curriculum development and resources necessary to build any custom courses.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external training providers and vendors.
- Stay current on the latest trends and best practices in learning and development.
- Partner with stakeholders to understand their learning and development needs. Align programs to meet those needs.
- Manage the learning and development budget and ensure that it is effectively utilized.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of existing training programs and make improvements as necessary. Define the monitoring and metrics necessary to measure employees’ success in learning.
Requirements and technical skills
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in instructional design, education, or a related field
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
- Experience with learning management systems and e-learning tools, whether as a developer, project manager or product owner
- Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and effectively manage expectations
- Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills
- 5+ years of experience in learning and development or instructional design
- Ability to analyze data and use it to drive decisions and improvements
