Pay Range: $22.83 - 29.31 per/hour

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

The Lead Transportation Coordinator oversees the administration and coordination of store schedules for Smart & Final (S&F) stores. This role also maintains and updates promo cops reports, produce cube and department performance reports; and monitors transportation reports and transportation carriers for compliance and accuracy.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned or required:

• Assist and provide guidance and training to other associates in the department
• Responsible for overseeing store inventory schedules, grand opening schedules, holiday schedules, which includes creating, moving and adjusting schedules for: routing/re-routing, tracking loads, on-time delivery and will make necessary moves
• Maintain database and provide reports from the database as needed
• Maintain master store schedule and promo flags for all stores
• Provide period and quarterly cube database reports and fuel reports
• Establish, maintain and publish on-time, detention and any other KPI reports in portal
• Oversee the data inputting of information into promo cops and store scheduling database.
• Coordinate with 3rd party vendors to ensure delivery to stores and communicate updates to stores, transportation and warehousing for Smart & Final stores and distribution centers

• May be assigned special projects

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Some college level coursework and two to five years related experience in computerized data management; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 3-5 years of progressive transportation experience/knowledge.
