In our time of Company growth, we are seeking a Lead Senior Accounts Payable Specialist.

Work Location: Bradenton, FL

• Answers all vendor, peer, management, and internal/external customer inquiries
• Receive, code, enter invoices, and follow payments through the entire accounts payable life cycle
• Analyzes vendor accounts and negotiates extended terms with vendors when cash is restricted
• Reviews more complex documents and vouchers and when appropriate, reviews the agreement with the terms of the purchase order and returns documents submitted for payment that are determined to be out of compliance
• Supports monthly closing of AP system insuring that all entries properly balance for posting to the GL system and corrections are made if errors are found
• Set up and maintain vendor AP file folders; as needed

What You Need To Bring To This Role

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite minimum
• Associate's degree in Accounting with 2+ years' accounts payable experience OR HS/GED with 5+ years' accounts payable experience minimum
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
• Experience with Great Plains accounting software a plus
