JOIN OUR TEAM! Omega is looking foranAccounts Payable Specialistthat will be an integral part of the Accounting Department, focused on accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting. This position reports to the Controller and is on-site in Sanford, FL. Core hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.– 5:00 p.m.

Job and Skill Requirements:

• Average skills utilizing MS Office programs, including Word and Excel
• Good interpersonal and teamwork skills, and patience in dealing with others are essential
• Confidentiality, integrity, and attention to detail
• Ability to communicate (both written and verbal) with people at all levels and under a wide variety of circumstances
• Associate degree in accounting or commensurate experience
• Experience with QuickBooks and ERP systems preferred

Responsibilities include:

• Ordering office supplies
• Entering manual invoices and expense reports into system
• Properly account for any sales tax due on purchases
• Timely payments to vendors and internal customers
• Three-way matching with PO, receiver, and vendor invoice; enter into system
• Reconcile monthly vendor statements and resolves discrepancies
• Other tasks as assigned
• Answering phones
• Processing of credit card transactions and monthly reconciliation
• Keep W-9 forms up to date for suppliers
• Assist with scheduling of maintenance of facilities
