Your Responsibilities

Assist the natural gas settlements team with pipeline and counterparty invoicing and reconciliation of cashflows.

Assist with reconciling and confirming daily exchange trades, margin, OTC trades, and broker fees

Back up other team members as necessary with settlement & confirmation processes for gas transactions, OTC counterparties, and exchanges

Coordinate with other departments on process & control improvements

Support global Uniper business initiatives and ad-hoc projects

Your profile

Degree in Business, Math, Finance, Economics, or related field

1-3 years of working in an energy trading organization in a finance or operations role Experience with/knowledge of US gas or other commodity markets

Good communication and organizational skills

High proficiency in spreadsheet development

Solid mental math computation skills

Advanced Excel Skillset

Intermediate skills (python, , PowerBi, SQL)

Customer Service - the role serves a number of customers and working proactively to relay information and meet customer needs is a key driver of business success

Problem Solving – the business relies on numbers and identifying problems and rectifying them is critical to the success of the business and the individual
