BUSINESSES AND JOB FUNCTIONS
Platform Solutions Across Platform Solutions (PS), we power our clients to serve and create better loyalty with their own clients and customers by delivering agile and modern cloud-based, developer-centric financial solutions. PS is comprised of four main businesses, underpinned by key horizontal functions across engineering, operations and risk management:
- Merchant Point-of-Sale Lending , a platform that provides custom credit financing for home improvement merchants to offer directly to their customers
- Enterprise Partnerships , consumer financial products that companies embed directly within their ecosystems to better serve their end customers
- Transaction Banking , a cash management and payments platform for clients building a corporate treasury system
- ETF Accelerator , a platform for clients to launch, list and manage exchange-traded funds

Operations is at the core of Goldman Sachs. For every trade agreed, every new product launched or market entered, every transaction completed, it is Operations that enables business to flow. The Operations business partners with all areas of the firm to deliver banking, sales and trading and asset management capabilities to clients around the world. Alongside this vital service delivery role, Operations provides essential risk management and control, preserving and enhancing the firm’s assets and its reputation. Operations span all product lines and markets.
- Wealth Management Operations We are responsible for front-to-back operational support to the Goldman Sachs Asset Management, Private Wealth Management and Ayco businesses in service, delivery, and processing functions across the trade and client lifecycle.
- FICC and Equities Operations We provide client onboarding support, post-trade transaction services and post-trade portfolio services for FICC and Equities. Our Client Coverage Group manages key client relationships to enhance the client experience front to back. We support the FICC and Equities businesses to develop and deliver new products, services and markets.
- Treasury Services We provide payment processing, liquidity, cash management and bank relationship management services for our institutional, retail, and corporate clients as well as firmwide flows.
- Investment Banking Operations We are responsible for all operational functions for Investment Banking. We support all product flows and provide effective control for the firm’s Investment Banking strategy.
Wealth Management Across Wealth Management, Goldman Sachs helps empower clients and customers around the world to reach their financial goals. Our advisor-led wealth management businesses provide financial planning, investment management, banking and comprehensive advice to a wide range of clients, including ultra-high net worth and high net worth individuals, as well as family offices, foundations and endowments, and corporations and their employees. Our consumer business provides digital solutions for customers to better spend, borrow, invest, and save. Across Wealth Management, our growth is driven by a relentless focus on our people, our clients and customers, and leading-edge technology, data and design.
- Wealth Management Professionals (WMPs) work directly with our clients to provide exceptional client service, operational support and risk management. They serve as a primary point of contact for clients, and are responsible for the operational management and oversight of the client experience. Some of the main responsibilities are managing the onboarding of client relationships, ensuring we are meeting our client’s investment objectives, managing fraud risk, trade execution, liquidity management and ongoing relationship management. SIE, Series 7 and 63 required (must be obtained within three months of employment)
- Private Wealth Management (PWM): Goldman Sachs Private Wealth Management (PWM) specializes in creating comprehensive wealth management plans for high net worth individuals and families, as well as select institutions, including foundations and endowments. PWM Teams work one-on-one with clients to advise and deliver customized strategies drawn from our deep investment experience, diverse wealth management capabilities and global reach. Our Private Wealth Advisors (PWAs) deliver an unparalleled investment platform inclusive of the full product and service offerings of Goldman Sachs and beyond, which may include tax and estate planning, philanthropic planning and private banking and lending services. As client needs evolve, this close relationship allows the team to offer complementary services and new opportunities by leveraging the resources of Goldman Sachs and beyond.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 0-3 years of prior work experience in a relevant field.
- Commercially savvy with ability to exercise discretion with respect to highly confidential/sensitive information
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Integrity, ethical standards and sound judgment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
- Ability to self-direct, analyze and evaluate and form independent judgments
- Team player with positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to effectively interact and build relationships with senior management and global stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree (2019 – June 2023)
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
- Proficient to advanced skills with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to adapt quickly to a variety of industries and businesses
