Pay Range: $86,000-$122,000

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking an exceptional candidate to be part of the Global Network Infrastructure team.This position is an IT Engeener (Network) that will work with IT staff, IT Management, and key personnel from other departments to identify, develop, implement, and support cost-effective solutions for all aspects of the organization. This position plays a key role in supporting the information technology systems that are core to the infrastructure. Responsibilities include: installation, implementation and administration of Data Centre and Global Networks. Responsible for compliance with established company standards and best practices. Consults with other groups, end users, and management to assist in troubleshooting of network issues and application problems within company.

Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Key Results Area:

• Responds with a sense of urgency and provides customer friendly technical support and guidance to users
• Monitors and responds quickly to any performance and/or security issues on the network
• Identifies new technology and sugest changes to company infrastructure strategy to management including new network designs
• Constantly striving for improvements in network performance, uptime and security
• Sets up, configures, and supports internal and/or external networks from the simple to complex
• Owns the learning process eagerly seeking opportunities to develop new skills
• Actively participates in the upgrade and installation of new and existing network equipment
• Lead and complete sucesfully all assigned network infrastructure projects
• Identifies and documents all network hardware and software using a variety of sources
• Possesses a strong work ethic, integrity, and exceptional attention to detail
• Support the business functions, offices and IT service\applications to meet defined corporate SLA's.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior team members
• Demonstrates initiative in completing assignments, always focusing on the needs of the customer
• Perform other related duties as required.
• Develops and matures network processes required to support and scale the companies IT service functions
• Colaborate with other IT teams and assists with project delivery
• Assists with network systems design and engineering in support of new systems, services and scalability

Ideal Candidate Possesses These Attributes:

Technical

• Good understanding of protocols, and internet standards
• 3+ years hands on LAN/WAN design, architecture and implementation expirience
• Competence understanding voice and data circuits functionality
• Extensive knowledge in data MPLS and interent circuit management
• Expirience in Solarwind network monitoring tool administration is a plus
• Strong technical knowledge of current Cisco network hardware,
• Strong knowledge in routing and core switching
• Expirience in managing connectivity in a multi-site environment
• Excelent current Cisco network hardware and technology troubleshooting skills
• Experienced in understanding and interpreting system and network performance and analytical data.
• Good knowledge to configure and manage Cisco wireless network is a plus
• Certifications preferred, but not required: CCNA, CCNP
• Expirience in designing, installing and supporting wireless network with possible Airmagnet wireless site survey skill set is a plus
• Experience in Cisco VoIP system administration is a plus

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in IT or related field or equivalent IT related experience. Minimum 5 Years' experience in a similar technical role.
