Application Engineer Jobs

Responsibilities:

• Cooperate with the sales team to provide technical support services, improve the competitiveness of the company's products, and ensure customer satisfaction through technical services.
• Cooperate with customers to carry out on-site robot installation, debugging, delivery, maintenance, and training.
• Evaluate the feasibility of using collaborative robots in the project according to customer needs and provide robot simulation solutions.
• Solve technical problems inquired by customers and track the progress of customer project implementation.
• According to the company's product updates, edit, and update various technical documents.
• Work with marketing on various speaking engagements online and in person.
• Work with trade organizations to build company technical brand awareness.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above, robotics-related majors (mechanical, electronics, control, computer science, etc.), and hands-on experience in manufacturing automation is required.
• Total Ownership and Dedication, Result Driven.
• Have experience in programming, familiar with Python, C++, and Linux/Unix environment is preferred.
• Cobot and its ecosystem like vacuum, mechanic, electric, or magnetic end effectors implementation experience is preferred.
• Requires travel and having Conference calls with Korea in the evening when needed.
• Effective communicator, ability to transfer knowledge and customer demands, and a good understanding of cross-cultural differences.
• Familiar with industrial protocols, Ethernet IP, ProfiNet, Ethernet/Modbus-RTU/TCP, etc. is preferred.
• Experience with PLC programming is preferred.
