The IT Business Solutions Analyst is responsible for leading the effort to understand the business needs for the Garlock Operations team and identify how best to meet those needs. This includes working with the business and the technology areas to gather requirements for development and management. The role leads the effort to analyze, validate and document the business and system requirements. They are a key facilitator within the IT organization, acting as a bridge between the business and the IT groups, and is accountable for a technology solution that supports the business request. This role partners with many teams during the initial stages of the project/solution to ensure the accuracy of business cases and that solutions meet the business need.

- Assisting in designing applications required to automate business processes and meet business needs. The resulting design may be required to run on multiple platforms and may be composed of multiple software packages and custom components.
- Discusses requirements with development sales and delivery teams and updates requirements to reflect feedback in the roadmap
- Documents the ERP Financial services architecture design; Owns and documents the overall ERP Financial services application architecture based on industry standard architectural frameworks
- Enabling Application Cloud Modernization Solution Design and Delivery by participating in:
- Provides a long term and short-term roadmap in line with migration and modernization services to cloud
- Applications-related quality, performance, availability, scalability, and integrity. Also responsible for the functional interface to applications and for ensuring application usability.
- Modernization / Migration architecture solution for Finance ERP Platform
- Information Experienced architect on ERP Financial services responsible for analyzing and translating market insights, business information, and technical requirements into an architectural blueprint for modernization of ERP Financial services
- Design of the Modernization strategy, tools, application, database, and integration components. Contributes with the team to adopt right tools for various migration methods for (re-host, re-factor, re-architect, re-platform, containerization etc.).
- Utilizing Best Practices in the critical evaluation and selection and / or development of the software components and hardware requirements of ERP Platform
- Develops a migration and modernization capability road map on ERP financial services of the enterprise portfolio from current to future state
- Interprets client needs and use case scenarios translates needs into differentiating and innovative ERP Financial services offering architecture
- Ensures ERP Financial offering services architecture and design is optimized for digital discovery consumption and extensibility
- Leads competitive research and analysis on migration and modernization of ERP Financial application products
- Works with enterprise architect information security application infrastructure teams to produce an optimal conceptual and cost-effective migration and modernization architectural design on ERP Financial services
Minimum Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 2-3 years working in a relevant role such as accounting, finance, IT within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in manufacturing with knowledge in Finance.
- Adept at working within an ERP system.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Requirements:
- Skills and experience in Finance and Accounting methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, such as business, finance, or information technologies highly preferred.
- Proven data analysis.
- ERP experience in NetSuite, Oracle, or Macola.
- Advanced computer skills.
