Job Description

Position Summary


  • Answer initial calls from clients seeking EAP services
  • Find appropriate resources for clients and provide general information and referrals in areas such as legal concerns, financial issues, and work-life challenges
  • Transfer clients to on-staff counselors when emotional distress or clinical expertise is required
  • Gather client information and input it into the EAP Expert database system
  • Connect clients to affiliate providers or EAP clinical staff for services


What You'll Do


  • Use customer service skills to determine client needs
  • Assign EAP staff or affiliates to client cases when appropriate
  • Remain logged into on-call telephone queues to fulfill duties
  • Complete intake forms in the EAP Expert database system
  • Screen for safety issues, domestic violence, substance abuse, and other high-risk considerations


What We're Looking For


  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong customer service commitment
  • Professional call center/scheduling experience is a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook & Office programs
  • Reliable internet connection with minimum download speed of 50Mbps and upload speed of 10Mbps
  • Excellent IT applications and database skills
