Referral Specialist-Remote Eligible ($19.67 - $25.57 / Hour)

Responsibilities

:

• Maintain information on health plan guidelines and provide training on plan requirements
• Verify eligibility and benefits, obtain authorizations for treatment or precertification of high-cost drugs
• Respond to inquiries from third-party payors, employers, internal staff, and physicians
• Track referrals to ensure compliance with guidelines and formulary requirements
• Ensure provider compliance with plan guidelines

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED (Associate's degree preferred)
• 6 months' experience in healthcare
