Prioritized Must Have Skills For The Insurance Product Analyst

#1. Must have knowledge of commercial general liability underwriting practices

#2. Must have knowledge of workers' compensation

#3. No more than 3 jobs in the last 10yrs.

Responsibilities Of The Insurance Product Analyst

• Reports to management on observations, recommendations, and results.
• Evaluates production and profitability after implementation of product or process changes.
• Recommends changes to rates, coverage forms and options, and fee structures to increase production and profitability.
• Collects data on the offerings, products, and processes of competitors to evaluate their competitive and strategic positioning in the market as well as developed and projected profitability.
• Coordinates with internal and producing agents, external staff, and third parties to gain an accurate understanding of competitor programs in the market and our strategic placement among them.
• Works with Underwriting and Business Analysts to implement agreed changes in most efficient manner.

Requirements Of The Insurance Product Analyst

• A minimum of an Associate's degree in Insurance, Accounting, Finance, Management, Business Administration, a related field or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of commercial general liability underwriting practices, with knowledge of workers' compensation line of business is a plus.
• Two (2) years of experience in primary general liability and workers' compensation underwriting in Florida, preferably in a wholesaler environment and focused on contractors.

• In office role (Local candidates only)
• No sponsorship or Visa holders. No Corp-to-Corp.
