Job Summary
As a Product Analyst with Allied Trust, you will use your skills managing and interpreting data to support the execution and delivery of insurance products and services.Within the company’s product management team, you will create useful dashboards and detailed reports that everyone in the company to improve their understanding of our business results.You will deliver highly visible reports requested by regulators accurately and on time. Reporting to the Vice President of Product Management, you will play a key role in executing Allied Trust’s vision to provide coverage-driven product solutions to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the setup and testing of our new data and analytics platform, currently under development.
- Set up and maintain reports and dashboards within Product Data Mart, perform analysis on product performance metrics (loss ratio, frequency, severity, hit ratio, retention, etc.).
- Prepare important regulatory data submissions for the company on time, accurately.
- Develop reports and dashboards for use across the company, collecting feedback and partnering with users to understand and deliver usable information.
- Perform competitive pricing analysis, creating and leveraging large data sets.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Excellent quantitative analysis capabilities and experience working with large datasets.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel, SQL, and business intelligence platforms such as Looker or Power BI.
- One year experience working with detailed business analysis, preferably property & casualty insurance.
