Insurance Optimization Quality Specialist – The Auto Club Group

What you will do:

Position Description

Under minimal supervision perform quality assessments for assigned areas within the department. Understand and appropriately apply underwriting & rating standards and company procedures within a multi-state operations environment. Use auditing tools and techniques to plan and/or conduct compliance, process, system, and vendor transaction audits at an agent level. Audit operational processes to ensure compliance with corporate policies, procedures and state regulatory requirements and adherence to internal controls and quality standards. Assess these processes for their ability to achieve optimal results from a profitability standpoint and make recommendations to increase optimization. Develop & review high level reporting on Underwriting/Rating accuracy & compliance. Research, identify and resolve simple to complex business problems.

Summarizes findings at an agent level and shares with management these findings. May participate in meetings with agents & managers to share results. Participates in projects to analyze cost/benefit across Product features & Underwriting Practices to ensure or increase optimization of profitability.

Reviews Underwriting reporting budget and analyzes cost-benefit. May collaborate directly with vendors. Participates in vendor trial to evaluate opportunities for new vendor solutions to assess cost/benefit and potential to increase optimization across Product & Underwriting.

May serve as a project lead on small scale projects or lead components of large projects. Provide guidance and support to other staff. Assists in the development of new audit topics and updates to audit procedures. Works with Management to develop reporting and analytics. Works with the peers and senior staff to identify opportunities to streamline workflow and processes utilizing GCP, Excel and their knowledge of how data flows. Collaborates with field management and the team to build and enhance dashboards. Must understand the data structure and data availability in order to advise on capabilities.

Maintain ongoing knowledge of industry best practices and updates to corporate regulatory requirements.

How you will benefit:

Insurance Optimization Quality Specialist will earn a competitive salary of $65,000 to $105,000 annually with annual bonus potential based on performance.
