Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain KPI measurements by monitoring sales performance and statistical reports of team.
  • Qualify customer complaints, customer inquiries, and assigned sales leads and ensure non-sales related requested are routed by Inside Sales Team to appropriate departments.
  • Ensure that sales policies, regulations, and procedures are maintained by the Inside Sales teams.
  • Assist Sales Leadership in the development of the Inside sales team KPIs and Goals.
  • Ensure sales pipeline consists of qualified lead generation team.
  • Scout and identify upselling opportunities among existing clients.
  • Prepare and develop training programs for Inside Sales employees.
  • Follow all Bender Inc. Safety Polices and Procedures, as well as the safety requirements of our customers where applicable.
  • Responsible for correcting or amending purchase orders with customers that do not fit against departmental policy for assigned opportunities.
  • Oversee the activities of an inside sales team to ensure a streamlined RFQ process.
  • Oversee the regular update of the CRM database (SalesForce) to ensure its validity.
  • Manage and inspire Inside Sales team towards the achievement of defined goals.
  • Contribute with more efficient, streamlined processes and standard operating procedure creation and modifications.
  • Assist Sales Executives in the deployment and maintenance of Product Profiles and Pricing in CRM.
  • Actively engage with all Regional Sales Managers and assist with 1st level application assistance for channel partners, distributors and or end-users directly.
  • Identify, mentor, and develop talent of team members with a performance cultural in mind.

Other Duties

  • Assist in the review, development, and execution of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Assist in the review, development, and execution of Marketing and Sales Materials.
  • Completing other duties as assigned to support the business.2z
  • Complete reports and achieve metrics as directed by Supervisor.
Requirements:

Educational and Experience Requirements

  • Basic ability to read and understand schematic drawings, panel schedules and specifications (preferred)
  • Bachelor of Business Administration or equivalent (Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) – preferred)
  • Highly efficient with Microsoft 365 Office Suite
  • Language proficiency: American English - Level 4 (ILR)
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems; Single and Three-Phase AC and DC Power (preferred)
  • Basic proficiency with ERP systems (required); SAP (preferred)
  • 7+ years’ experience in Sales, business administration, business development, sales operations selling tangible technical products (electrical distribution or power industry preferred)
  • CRM experience 5+ years (required); SalesForce CRM (preferred)

Physical Demands

  • Frequent operation and use of computer
  • Capable of adequate judgement, decision making, reasoning, comprehension, strong English written and verbal communication and stress control.
  • Occasional stooping, bending, crouching, reaching or crawling
  • Must be able to understand and follow basic English instructions and guidelines, complete routine paperwork, as well as prioritize work schedule
  • Incumbent must have the ability to count accurately, add, subtract, multiply, divide and record, balance and check results for accuracy.
  • Occasional lifting and moving of 10-45 pounds
  • Sitting for extended periods of time, some walking and standing

Work Environment

  • Occasional exposure to typical production environments that may or may not be climate controlled and may be exposed to areas that require use of personnel protective equipment.
  • This position primarily operates in either a home office or typical office environment where the employee will encounter average indoor conditions and noise.
