About the Role:

The Influencer Marketing Senior Strategist is responsible for leading Influencer strategy and production for client roster, and acting as the senior consultant for influencer accounts across the agency. This position is responsible for influencer strategy/campaign development, strategic reporting and takeaway callouts, influencer department operation items, and the team development and growth, where applicable. This person also supports creative campaign ideation and compelling communication in an effort to build, maintain and grow a client’s reputation, credibility and brand awareness.


Responsibilities:


  • Is comfortable working with a range of client sizes (prestige to start-up) and categories/verticals (fashion, beauty, health/wellness, tech, finance, sports, lifestyle, CPG etc.)
  • Strong influencer, talent agent/manager and agency contacts
  • Maintains accurate Hourstack and Asana on a daily basis
  • Strategic soundboard for junior team members across entire account roster
  • Writes and edits materials with keen eye for detail
  • Is viewed by the client as one of the key points of contact, leads client meetings, calls, and presentations
  • Exceeds PPE & RPE success metric
  • Manage accounts with the highest workflow volume or complexity with positive feedback
  • Training and managing interns and part timers
  • Maintains positive client relationships which contribute to the overall revenue growth of the company
  • Effectively sets and meets deadlines
  • Executes creative influencer marketing campaigns, and report on key wins, and areas of opportunities
  • Has strong knowledge of all social platforms and how to most efficiently engage influencers and users on each of the platforms
  • Leads trainings and plays an active role in employee development within department
  • Provides guidance to junior staff to cultivate growth in each account-facing role
  • Closes the loop on assignments and notify team members when action items are complete
  • Leads creative brainstorms and inspires collaboration
  • Proactively assigns deliverables with context and is comfortable with delegation on multiple levels
  • Works with Account Managers to develop strategy, budgets, plans, and project scopes


Requirements:

  • Experience in managing a direct report(s) and/or interns
  • Understanding of and experience with FTC guidelines and Agreement negotiations
  • Strong time management skills with core understanding of, or openness to, workflow among a portfolio of clients and campaigns.
  • Is comfortable working with a range of client sizes (prestige to start-up) and categories/verticals (fashion, beauty, health/wellness, tech, finance, sports, lifestyle, CPG etc.)
  • Ability to report social insights and findings to internal and external teams and navigate both qualitative and quantitative learnings.
  • Excellent understanding of social media platforms (including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, Snapchat and Twitter) and online content, and evidence of a developed social media/web presence.
  • Comfort/Familiarity with Google Docs, Google Sheets, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • 3-4+ years of experience in the Influencer Marketing space (not inclusive of internships)
  • Excellent written, verbal and visual communication skills both internally and externally
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with strong understanding of social platform analytics, marketing analytics & ROI.
  • Excellent understanding of both the paid and organic influencer marketing spaces and how they relate to the digital marketing funnel
  • Excellent analytical skills, and experience with Google Analytics
  • Self-Starter, possesses ability to act and operate efficiently and independently to accomplish objectives.
  • Comfortable and proficient with client-facing communications
  • Experience with a range of Influencer Content Management Systems, and the ability to learn new systems.
