We are seeking a Communications and Influencer Manager on a contract basis to join our customer's communications team in support of Public Relations (PR), social and influencer programs for both general and Latino markets. Responsibilities include leading the team's content partnerships, influencer, events and college ambassador programs, including identifying influencers and partnership opportunities, creating briefs, reviewing content, optimizing programs and providing weekly updates to key stakeholders. This role is 100% remote and candidates are preferred to work in PST hours.


What You’ll Do


  • Manage outside agency resources to effectively execute projects
  • Execute and project manage content, media partnerships and events with third-party vendors in support of business unit goals
  • Reports to the Senior Communication Manager within the Consumer Group, who is based in San Diego, CA and is also part of the company's Global Communications organization
  • Effectively manage resource allocation
  • Create and manage monthly internal PR/Social newsletter shared across the organization
  • Develop and deliver regular reports on campaign performance, and recommendations for program optimizations
  • Partner with Communications and Marketing teams to develop social and content activations supporting the company's strategic partnerships
  • Responsible for managing influencer and college ambassador programs delivering campaign deliverables, content creation, analytics and reporting updates
  • Display excellent verbal and written communications skills, with a keen ability to engage in meaningful conversations, both online and off


Must Haves


  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and successfully, prioritize effectively, and navigate high-pressure situations
  • Exceptional communication skills (both written and spoken)
  • Strong ability to turn data points and analytics into actionable insights to optimize campaign performance, and to summarize key information for senior leaders
  • Strategic thinker who can quickly jump in and be a key part of a high-performing communications team
  • Ability to engage in online and offline conversations with third-party vendors, cross-functional teams of internal stakeholders while managing agency partners' program resources
  • Passion for all things social media, analytics and early adopter of emerging platforms
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to formulate an informed point of view and clearly articulate it to key stakeholders
  • Experience in executing TikTok, Instagram or other emerging social media campaigns and creating trending content across social platforms
  • Experience in working directly in content partnerships, influencer program management, PR campaigns, video creation or production, social media, analytics and reporting
  • Fluency with WordPress and Tableau a plus
  • Proactive self-starting approach and hunger to learn
  • Open to travel to event locations across the United States (U.S)
  • Demonstrated ability to partner and collaborate across a broad range of stakeholders
  • 5-7 years of experience in an agency, media or corporate environment, consumer or tech preferred
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus


Education


  • A degree or diploma in Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.


Hours & Location:


  • M-F, 40 hours/week. This role will be 100% remote and candidates are preferred to work in PST hours.
