JOB SUMMARY: MSI HVAC(Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) Inside Sales Representative to assist in the acquisition of new and existing commercial, industrial, and institutional accounts by developing and aiding relationships with owners, Engineers, Mechanical Contractors, facility managers, and end users.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Answer sales calls for general information, addressing and resolving customer concerns or questions.
- Support the sales team in customer meetings with technical content and demonstrations as directed.
- Work with Account Executives to support existing customer needs by determining the best products and solutions.
- Ability to effectively use customer relationship management (CRM) system and phone system.
- Aid in the estimation of HVAC
- Assist the sales team in meeting and exceeding monthly and annual sales goals
- Outbound call customers to understand their needs and identify sales opportunities
- Maintain and update technical sales presentations & resources.
- Assist with walk-throughs and field surveys.
- Establish in person or virtual customer meetings as directed.
- Compile bid documentation and track deadlines.
- Promote and participate in education and training opportunities that allow the company and its employees to meet stated goals, objectives, and business plans.
- Work to come up with lead times and solutions for back ordered equipment and materials for our customers.
- Create and maintain a database of current and potential customers
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Previous sales experience is preferred
- Previous experience in service industry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC or construction a plus
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Strong attention to detail with problem solving capabilities
- High energy level and team player
- Strong analytical, numerical, and reasoning abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Exceptional customer service and phone skills
- Organizational skills a must
- Physical activities to include standing, balancing, climbing stairs & ladders, walking, and lifting of weights of 50lbs. or more are required in daily performance of job. Use of upper extremities required for forward and overhead reaching, pushing, and pulling material handling.
- Proficient at typing & comfortable with computers
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software such as Dynamics
- Ability to achieve targets
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong listening and sales skills
- Demonstrate any level aptitude as it relates to control systems (Preferred)
- Strong work ethic and self-motivated
