Job Description
Exciting Human Resources Manager Opportunity in Metro Atlanta!
We are looking for a talented and experienced Human Resources Manager to lead our HR department and help us build and maintain a high-performing team. As the HR Manager, you will work closely with senior management to understand and execute our human resource and talent strategy. You will oversee all human resources activities and functions, including salary administration, PTO and employee benefit programs, and more.
If you are detail-oriented, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and have at least 10 years of recent Human Resources experience with 5 years in a management role, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
Lead the company’s Human Resources Department and manage and administer human resources activities and functions
Oversee salary administration, PTO and employee benefit programs, etc.
Partner with senior management to execute the organization’s human resource and talent strategy
Lead the continuous improvement and execution of our recruiting initiatives, including managing staffing partners, screening applicants, setting up and conducting interviews, and identifying and implementing applicant tracking software to assist in the foregoing
Develop best practices around onboarding, training, professional development, and retention to build and maintain a high-performing team
Guide the performance appraisal, transfer, promotion, and progressive disciplinary processes
Ensure compliance with personnel policies and procedures related to corporate programs and monitor compliance with all HR-related SOC controls
Maintain all personnel files, both hard copy and electronic within appropriate structures
Counsel Managers And Employees About Employment-related Issues, Benefits, Etc.
Supervise, train and mentor subordinates
Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law
And other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree; HR concentration desirable
Minimum 10 years recent Human Resources experience with at least 5 years in a management role
Certification through HRCI (PHR / SPHR) or SHRM (CP or SCP); Senior level preferred
Experience recruiting technical and professional level staff is desirable
Proficiency with HR-related systems and tools
Detail oriented with excellent written, verbal, conflict resolution, organizational and interpersonal skills
Experience with applicant tracking software
Must be proficient with all Microsoft Office tools
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
Must be available to work on-site at least two days a week
