Schneider Electric has an opportunity for a HR Intern in our Columbia, South Carolina location. This on-site position requires the ideal candidate to be located in the general area. No visa sponsorship or relocation will be provided for this role.This intern will have the opportunity to gain exposure to Talent Management world with real-life initiatives, projects and resume boosting experience within a Fortune 500 company.

What will you do?
  • Gain exposure to various aspects of the employee experience while supporting and driving human resources People initiatives in the Columia, SC Schneider Electric Plant
  • Lead and implement HR related projects.
  • Help drive employee engagement through participation and support of cross functional plant teams including One Voice, Well Being, Diversity and Inclusion.
  • Support the Human Resources Manager through completion of daily HR related tasks including filing, office organization, project coordination, creation of employee communications and much more.
  • Attend career fairs and assist with tasks involving those events.
  • Assist with recruiting of key talent, new hire on-boarding and Learning & Development initiatives.
Qualifications:
What qualifications will make you successful?
  • Enjoy working with others and are interested in a career in Human Resources.
  • Self directed, creative and willing to go the extra mile for your customers.
  • A college Junior or Senior seeking a degree in Human Resources, Business, Management, Psychology or a related field of study
  • Able to work part time (17.5 hours/week) during the school year and full time (40 hours/week) in the summers.
