The Human Resources Generalist will run the daily functions of the Human Resources (HR) department
including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company
policies and practices.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment
- Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions;
- Openings.
- Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
- Management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and
- Training and development.
- Training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
- Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training,
- Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- But not limited to disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent
- Collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for
- Complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring
- Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.

Requirements:
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Systems.
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- SHRM-CP a plus.
- At least one year of human resource management experience is preferred.
Base Pay Range
- The base pay range of this position is $90,000 annually. Additional compensation through the Incentive Bonus Program is available for this position.
