Career Opportunity: Human Resources Assistant with The Healthcare Connection in Cincinnati, OH
Do you have experience supporting the role of human resource within an organization? Are you exceptionally organized? Are you looking for a flexible part time role allowing for a partially remote worksite?
As the HR Assistant, you will assist with the human resources administrative functions supporting internal staff and potential new hires within the organization. Additionally, you will:
- Assist in the management of workers compensation including claim reporting and management.
- Recruiting and screening applicants.
- Coordinates and administers completion of HR and payroll documents related to new hires and current employees.
- Schedules interviews with company supervisors, managers, and executives.
- Maintains employee personnel files, resumes, application forms, and applicant tracking logs in compliance with company policies and government regulations.
- Partners with colleges and other resources to develop effective co-op and talent pool programs across the organization.
- Interviews applicants and gathers information regarding education, experience, training, job skills, and salary requirements.
- Coordinate training programs through external training provider.
- Administers/leads company programs related to benefits, community involvement, charities, etc. as required.
- Coordinates transmission of benefit enrollment information to benefit provider and partners with the employee and provider to address any benefit related issues.
- Coordinates travel and lodging accommodations for candidates as required.
- Answers inquiries from inside and outside the company involving employment verifications, benefits claims, and employment activities.
- Assist in compliance paperwork for all immigration paperwork and requirements.
- Performs reference checks, predictive testing, and criminal background checks on perspective candidates.
- Leads employee orientation training for all new hires.
- Responsible for the maintenance of the HCM system and related information and reporting.
Bring your exceptional eye for detail and strong self-motivation, as well as:
- Knowledge of employment laws and other related regulations that affect job recruitment preferred
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspect of Human Resources related work is required
- Experience with Paycor preferred
- 2+ years of experience working in human resources
- Excellent written and oral communications are required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required
