Job Description
Water Utility Management is seeking a Human Resources and Communication Manager to join the team. As the largest private operator of community water and wastewater systems in Georgia, we aim to provide our customers with safe and reliable drinking water and wastewater service with excellent customer experience. As our new Human Resources and Communication Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our employees have a positive and productive work experience, while facilitating communication between management and staff. You will be responsible for communicating company policies and benefits to employees, recruiting and hiring qualified candidates, implementing effective employee training programs, and conducting employee performance evaluations. Additionally, you will foster a positive work environment and ensure that management is communicating clearly with staff.


Responsibilities


  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement employee performance improvement plans when necessary.
  • Develop and implement employee benefit programs and ensure employee awareness and comprehension.
  • Manage employee relations, interpret policies, and counsel employees on all employee-related issues.
  • Develop, implement, and administer human resources policies and procedures.
  • Oversee and coordinate recruitment and selection process to ensure a diverse and qualified workforce.
  • Develop and maintain communication materials such as newsletters, memos and online resources.
  • Identify and evaluate training and development needs, and work with employees to develop training programs.


Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience with recruiting, interviewing, and performance evaluation.
  • Experience creating and implementing HR policies and procedures.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a human resources role.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
