Come join our HR team at Mission Critical Partners (MCP) as an HR Administrator and play a critical role in supporting our organization's HR functions. To be a successful HR administrator at MCP, you will have superb communication and administration skills and the ability to handle all written and verbal employee queries with the utmost confidentiality. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to maintaining personnel records, managing HR documents (e.g., employment records and onboarding practices) and updating internal databases.

SALARY RANGE:
- $45K - $48K Annual
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct reference checks for all new hires.
- Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
- Presents the Human Resources session of new hire orientation.
- Assist the HR team in preparing staff communications, generating HR documents and reports, and policy formulation.
- Organize and maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HR database, including personal information, employment history, compensation, benefits, and training records.
- Coordinate training programs and workshops, including scheduling and tracking attendance and taking minutes.
- Assist with annual open enrollment period and new hire benefit enrollments.
- Assists with the preparation of the performance review and bonus incentive program processes.
- Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
- Ensure smooth communication with employees and timely resolution to their queries and escalate issues to appropriate HR personnel as necessary.
- Assist with organizing employee development and engagement initiatives and taking minutes.
- Coordinate new hire orientation sessions and prepare onboarding materials for new hires.
- Assist with requesting employment screening checks.
- Assists with generating PowerPoint slides for MCP’s Friday Education Huddle
- Assist with the planning of staff engagement events.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Acts as a backup presenter for MCP’s Friday Education Huddle
BASIC REQUIREMENTS, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS
- Associates degree in HR or related field
- General knowledge of human resources and employment law
- Ability to keep sensitive information confidential.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking and/or Human Resources Information/Management Systems is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications, specifically Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
- Proven experience in an HR role (2 years is preferred)
