Summary
Varex Imaging is currently looking for a results oriented HRIS Analyst to support our global team. The HRIS Analyst will be responsible for the design, configuration, and maintenance of Workday HCM and other HRIS systems/tools. This role will serve as the technical point of contact across various HCM functional areas.
As an HRIS Analyst, you will:
  • Gather requirements from subject matter experts and translate business needs into functional and technical solutions.
  • Lead discussions and testing of new functionality related to system upgrades and releases.
  • Make recommendations to improve processes and efficiency.
  • Support the ongoing design, configuration, and maintenance of multiple HCM functional areas such as Core HCM, recruiting, benefits, compensation, absence management, time tracking, payroll, talent, or performance management modules.
  • Assist with coordination of and/or lead efforts for a wide variety of ongoing or annual HR projects.
  • Configure security and assign roles as needed and approved.
  • Contribute to overall HR team effort in delivering high quality service and projects.
  • Create and maintain documentation of business processes.
  • Proactively Identify opportunities for automation via Workday custom reporting and other technical solutions, including integrations, discovery boards and slides.
  • Ensure data integrity through regular data validations and audits.
  • Provide counsel and guidance to other team members as needed.
Required Experience and Skills:
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively balance and complete multiple projects and deliverables within expected timeframes and deadlines.
  • 3+ years of designing, configuring, and supporting multiple Workday functional areas.
  • Demonstrated ability to create clearly written documents and training materials.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact in a professional manner with internal and external stakeholders, use tact and diplomacy, maintain confidentiality, and appropriately handle and communicate controversial or sensitive information
  • Demonstrated ability to organize, effective time management and prioritize tasks and adjust to changes in priorities and situations to meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate, analyze, and summarize data and facts, establish logical connections, and form sound decisions based on analysis.
Preferred Experience and Skills
  • Experience building dashboards, creating advanced reports, and using discovery boards.
  • Advanced understanding and experience with security administration and integrations.
  • Experience configuring Workday for a global company that’s also publicly traded.
  • Ability to work across multiple geographies
  • Understanding and experience with SOX controls and GDPR guidelines.
  • Bachelor’s (or Master’s) degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related fields.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND CERTIFICATIONS
Experience Level with Business Tools
  • Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired.
  • Proficient in utilizing business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelors degree (or equivalent experience) and 5 years of related experience or Masters Degree with 3 years of related experience.
