Human Resources Recruiter
Job Summary
This position is responsible for the full life cycle of recruitment including direct sourcing activities, and interviewing. The primary focus is to develop and implement strategies related to staffing. This position will work directly with hiring managers to understand the organization’s business goals and determine the next steps in order to integrate recruiting best practices and process improvements to further company goals. This position will have a strong focus on helping DynaEnergetics to become the employer of choice in its industry. This position is located in the Blum, TX.
Location: Blum, TX, USA - Requires to be onsite daily.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Attends career fairs and networking events developing talent pipeline.
- Complete weekly reports on employment activity
- Handle all candidate activity in the Applicant Tracking System in a timely manner; includes but not limited to scrubbing requisitions, candidate engagement, moving applicants through the process, filling & closing requisitions.
- Demonstrates confidence in interactions with individuals of all levels and backgrounds while exhibiting a strong business acumen.
- Collaborates with multiple hiring managers and personnel to evaluate position criteria, determine staffing needs and establish minimum qualifications and skills required for open positions throughout all levels of the organization.
- Develops and maintains a strong network of contacts to identify and source quality candidates.
- Possess excellent communication skills and demonstrates a strong track record of placements.
- Effective communicator, able to articulate ideas clearly and concisely in a variety of settings, adjusting the message to match the audience.
- Attracts top talent and manages all aspects of the recruiting process; both directly and passively.
- Maintain knowledge and awareness of current recruitment and hiring-related trends.
- Utilizes candidate relationship management skills to identify, qualify, and screen potential candidates.
- Assist with new hire orientation and exit interviews.
- Updates and tracks recruitment files and prepares and places job advertising across appropriate media.
- May have some HR Generalist experience as well.
- Plans, organizes, and ensures compliance with policies and programs encompassing employment and / or staffing functions.
- Demonstrates expertise in non-standard recruiting methods: cold calling candidates and companies, organizing and executing ad hoc networking events, identifying industry experts and finding unique methods to engage with them, creating unique targeted sourcing campaigns, etc.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Education and/or Experience
- SHRM, or other relevant certifications desired.
- Experience with high volume recruiting
- Excellent knowledge of recruiting systems and job boards required.
- Must be a team player.
- Minimum 3-5 years of full life cycle recruiting experience.
- Experience recruiting a variety of professional (staff) positions is a plus.
- Able to work independently.
- Bachelor’s degree highly desired
- Ability to ensure privacy/confidentiality of all employee information required.
- Experience recruiting talent for a manufacturing company a big plus.
- Experience recruiting in oil and gas preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point)
- Strong knowledge of HR practices and employment laws
- Must be very organized and detail oriented.
