Primary Function of Position:

As a member of the HR Program Management team, the individual will support various priority initiatives as well as build capabilities across the HR function related to project management. They will drive the delivery of our priority initiatives, ensuring scope, resources, and stakeholders are aligned from creation to delivery.

Successful candidates will be a true advocate for the employee experience with a thoughtful approach to project and program management and experience with successful change management. They need to be results and action oriented, with a strong business acumen and possess the ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage stakeholder expectations at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Support the management of the HR portfolio of programs/projects, which includes the HR portfolio roadmap of current and future programs/projects, program/project sequencing and interdependencies, ensuring alignment with desired milestones and outcomes with the overall HR strategy
  • In partnership with project leads, establish program/project governance, scope, outcomes and measures, and recommend project resourcing.
  • Establish and manage governance, cadence and forums to communicate portfolio progress, issues/risks, KPIs and ROI to stakeholder groups
  • Integrate individual project plans (new and existing) into an overall program plan based on defined activities and milestones and provide consolidated view of program progress and results
  • Support the organization of project teams, structure the work, and set timelines through comprehensive project plans, and ensure individual projects are carried out on-time, within budget and in alignment with goals
  • Leverage HR’s project management methodology, governance, and tools and partner with project leads to support key HR programs and projects, ensuring deliverables are rolled out to the business in a timely, well-coordinated and high-impact manner
  • Ensure appropriate metrics/benefit measures are being tracked and achieved
  • Provide guidance and expertise to project teams, with focus on PMO tools, templates, principles, processes, and policies ensuring they are effectively used and leveraged across project teams
  • Support the development and management of standard project management (PM) methodology, process and tools for HR to successfully implement strategic programs, which should include scheduling, measuring, reporting and milestone reviews.
  • Identify and resolve issues and risks associated with project/project dependencies, milestones, resources (i.e., financial, human, and time)
  • Facilitate issue/risk resolution across HR partnership functions

Qualifications

Skills, Experience, Education, & Training:

  • Proven ability to simultaneously manage multiple complex programs and project plans and competing priorities for stakeholders, leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Experience with project and program management and portfolio level tools such as Smartsheet and Clarity required
  • Ability to develop strong cross-team relationships and partnerships, driving action and execution without direct authority
  • Organizational and project management skills with a focus on detailed execution
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in project & program management
  • Ability to identify and solve blockers and challenges in a matrixed and fast moving environment
  • Influencer, negotiator, and team player that can easily build trust and strong relationships with peers, cross-functional teams, and key stakeholders
  • Highly competent and diplomatic in facilitating meetings with various functional areas represented and driving deep conversations, coalescing conflicting views, and driving quick decision making.
  • PM certification required
  • Must be able to travel up to 10%
  • Proven ability to successfully work in a hybrid or remote environment
  • Experience developing reports / presentations and communicating progress in various forums, including to executive leadership

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, benefits, and equity. It would not be typical for someone to be hired at the top end of range for the role, as actual pay will be determined based on several factors, including experience, skills, and qualifications. The target salary ranges are listed.

Base Salary Range Region 1:$162,000 - $233,100
Base Salary Range Region 2: $137,700 - $198,100
Shift: Day
Travel: 10% of the time
