We are looking for an HR Supervisor, Employee Relations to oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes with a focus on Employee Relations. What is an HR ER Supervisor? To us, they are the go-to person for all employee-related issues. To go into further detail as HR ER Supervisor, your duties will involve and revolve around managing activities such as job design, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, employee training & development, and talent management. The job of the Interim HR ER Supervisor is important to business success. Our team members are our most important asset and you’ll be the one to ensure we have a happy and productive work environment where everyone works collaboratively to realize our established mission and objectives. - Manage the Human Resources Department and make sure it runs smoothly every day.
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
- Lead the investigation process and serve as guidance for disciplinary actions.
- Bridge management and employee relations by receiving and addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process.
- Nurture a positive working environment for the management team and the employee base.
- Manage and lead the HR Department with a focus on Employee Relations.
- Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
- Supervise one HR Assistant in the HR Dept.
- Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
- Advocate for employee retention and development.
- Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
- Implement, enforce and maintain directives from management, the company handbook and policies.
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
- Compensation Management and Analysis: Obtain and analyze market compensation and make recommendations for compensation levels across the organization.
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Maintain pay plan and benefits program.
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
- Support the CEO in his HR vision, initiatives and policies
Skills and Qualifications:
- In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite particularly with EXCEL.
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases especially Zenefits.
- Enforcement of the Employees’ Handbook including any policies and practices such as FMLA, PTO, Attendance, Leave, Termination, Compensation, Benefits…...& etc.
- Ability to follow and enforce existing HR policies as well as directives from the CEO's Office.
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
- Proven working experience an Employee Relations Specialists.
- Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics.
- People-oriented, data driven and results-driven.
Required/Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor in Human Resources or related field. (Preferred)
- 5 to 10 years of experience as an Employee Relations Specialists. (Required)
- Mandarin. (Preferred)
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in a leadership role with direct reports. (Required)
