Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and service-oriented Resident Care Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll be responsible for making regular rounds, tending to the basic needs of our residents, and ensuring they feel valued and cared for. You'll be the friendly face they can count on for assistance, creating meaningful connections every step of the way.
Key Responsibilities
Duty 1: Personalized Attention - Make regular rounds, offering personalized attention to residents by fulfilling their basic needs. From providing water to fetching remotes and pushing wheelchairs, you'll be their helping hand.
Duty 2: Nourishing Mealtimes - Assist residents during meal times, ensuring they receive the nourishment they need. Your caring presence will make their dining experience delightful.
Duty 3: Prompt Response - Respond to call lights promptly and efficiently. Should a nurse aide or nurse be required, you'll be their first point of contact, ensuring our residents receive the appropriate care they deserve.
Qualifications
Positive and Engaging: Possess outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere for our residents.
Empathetic and Skilled: Demonstrate the knowledge and expertise necessary to care for residents effectively, considering their unique needs and developmental stages.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Elderly Care: Prior experience in working with elderly individuals will be valued and appreciated.
Physical Requirements
As a Resident Care Associate, you'll enjoy a dynamic work environment that keeps you active. You should be prepared for the following physical demands:
Frequent walking, occasional lifting, bending, squatting, kneeling, and standing.
Ability to lift weights between twenty to fifty pounds, and handle tasks that require fine finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
Good vision and hearing within the normal range.
