Project Manager - Remote | Wfh

We are currently seeking a skilled Project Manager for an exciting contract position with our Tech-Ed client. Role Overview
As a Project Manager, you will be a key liaison between project teams and business stakeholders. Your responsibilities will encompass project and change management support for global IT projects within our PMO. If you have a track record of successful project ownership, resource allocation, and risk mitigation, this opportunity is tailor-made for you.
Responsibilities
Take ownership of Project and Change Management support for Global PMO-related IT projects.
Foster effective communication between project teams and business stakeholders.
Develop comprehensive project plans, set timelines, and allocate resources strategically.
Provide guidance and oversight to project teams to minimize issues and risks.
Deliver high-quality PMO projects that meet project and management expectations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree (Master's preferred) in MIS, CS, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Over 7 years of hands-on experience managing large, global IT projects.
Profound expertise in project planning, resource management, risk management, and vendor collaboration.
Proven experience in managing cloud migration and data-center exit projects.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
Initiative-driven with a history of steering projects to successful outcomes.
Strong grasp of SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies, upholding top-tier quality standards.
Proficiency in metrics analysis to inform project direction.
Past experience managing projects with onshore and offshore teams.
Familiarity with Confluence, Excel, Jira, PowerPoint, MS Project, and SmartSheet.
A curious mindset that seeks to uncover root causes and hidden impacts.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, suitable for various audiences.
Ideally located in the Greater Columbus, OH area.
Preferred experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
Candidates with PMP, Prosci, or Project Management-related certifications are favored.
Additional Information

Compensation starts at $65.00/hour, depending on experience.
