Hiring: Quality Assurance Compliance Specialist

Role: QA Compliance Specialist
Location: Columbus, Ohio, United States
Duration: 6 Months on W2 (Possibility to convert to FTE for the right candidate)
Shift Timings: 8:30 AM to 5 PM

• Onsite role
• Open to remote only if they have a nutrition background + 4 plus years exp + regulatory assessment and audit exp.

Description

• Food nutrition background required
• Collaborating with different quality system owners or Subject Matter Experts to continue driving the assessments of regulation so that a conclusion can be made on what the risks are to the business. Whether there is an impact or no impact and all these conclusions are documented in the system.
• Global regulations: European, Asian, and Latin American. This kind of experience is a big plus.
• Understanding manufacturing processes will be great.
• CAPA exp is plus.
• Technical writing skills required; regulation protocols (minimums and maximums of different elements in food regulations need to be met and this person must have knowledge of it).
• Working with a quality management system where they will document and open up reviews and assessments for each of the regulations that will need to be looked at and have potential impact.
• Have experience working in regulation or food policy. Have written write-ups, assessments
• Documenting, and drafting write-ups of the assessment based on the inputs received from other quality team members.
• Working through current regulations that are tied to the nutrition industry. Reviewing the publications, understanding the different quality systems that could have potential impact.

Education And Experience

• Food Nutrition experience
• Open to fresh graduates with strong academics in Food & Nutrition but the first choice will be experienced candidates.
• Bachelors/Masters in Science field especially nutrition with 2 to 5 years experience.

Interview Process

• If a candidate is excellent and has all desired and preferred skills then will do a video interview for them.
