Quality Assurance Specialist Jobs

We are looking for an entry-level Quality Assurance Lab Specialist for a top company in Columbus, Ohio. This position will be located on site in the Columbus office.

Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections on products within the DCs
• Vendor Performance
• Will assist as needed to support program under guidance from more Sr QA Associates Communicate Quality Assurance policies and procedures to vendors and internal cross-functional partners
• Provide support to worldwide contract manufacturing operations.
• Perform inspections of merchandise to determine acceptability of product and compliance to specifications
• Perform QC evaluations on individual projects as compared to standards
• Track supplier product submissions for approval
• Quality Control Issue Management
• Provide technical and investigative support to vendors and cross-functional partners
• Evaluate test data gathered or received by supplier for compliance to standards
• Collect and record date using basic measuring tools
• Coordinate article set-up and positive release

Required Qualifications:

• Comfortable performing multi-layered projects along with day-to-day activities
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physical or Natural Sciences.
• Able to interact with all levels of personnel and management
• Organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Competent computer skills
• Ability to establish credibility, be decisive, and showcase problem solving skills
• Service oriented but assertive and persuasive
• Demonstrate ability to work effectively within a team environment
