Job Description
An established NYC-based nonprofit is looking for a Help Desk Manager to join their team. This company has over 30 programs and is dedicated to providing comprehensive care and services to children and families in need. This is a contract-to-hire role working onsite in Brooklyn 2-3 days per week.
As an Help Desk Manager, you will report to the Director of IT and will supervise the Help Desk staff to ensure the timely delivery of technical support to employees. This will be primarily hands off, but you will also act as the primary escalation point for any support needs that the team is unable to resolve. Their ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience managing a team.
Requirements
  • Skilled in project management
  • 3+ years of hands-off management experience
  • Experience conducting performance reviews and handling hiring/disciplinary responsibilities
  • 5+ years of experience in IT
  • HIPAA training is a bonus!
