Our client is a leading pharmaceutical company dedicated to advancing medical research and improving patient outcomes. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to track project progress, maintain dashboards, and use tools like Smartsheet to drive project efficiency and transparency.
As the Project Manager you will be responsible for leading and coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of projects in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry.

Duration: 6+ months
Time commitment: 20 hours a week to start, will ramp up to full time starting in 2024
Location: 100% Remote Opportunity
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Plan, initiate, and manage projects from concept to completion while ensuring adherence to timelines, budget, and quality standards.
- Progress Tracking: Develop and maintain project dashboards to track project milestones, tasks, and deliverables, ensuring timely updates and clear visibility into project status.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, providing clear direction, assigning tasks, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address challenges and ensure project success.
- Communication: Facilitate effective communication among team members, stakeholders, and senior management to provide regular updates on project progress and address any issues.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance project management methodologies and overall project delivery.
- Resource Allocation: Allocate resources efficiently, balancing workload and ensuring team members have the necessary tools and support to meet project objectives.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Project Management, etc.). Master's degree is a plus.
- PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
- Proven experience (X+ years) in project management within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements within the pharmaceutical/biotechnology sector is advantageous.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to navigate complex challenges and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Strong familiarity with project management tools such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms.
